Hmm. What pokemon are you using for the hero and partner?
There’s a known glitch where having too many sprites in a cutscene will cause the game to crash in that scene. This is generally caused by having H-Sneasel and one other mon I can’t remember.
Unfortunately, this is a permanent issue (Though it’s being fixed in 1.2). You can’t progress through without crashing. It will always happen. To fix this you need to use SkyTemple to temporarily change whoever is the Sneasel to a mon with a lower sprite size. Any will work. If you don’t have SkyTemple or know how to use it, you’re sol. I don’t remember if there are other workarounds.
