Thank you! Is Poni Island about the same time you get to Paniola town? His trainer name is in Japanese and is だん. His starter was Litten. Unfortunately he doesn't remember how many pokemon he had .

I think you're right. It looks like he overwrote it. Thank you for offering to help but he ended up just starting from the beginning again.

Hi all, My son's save from Pokemon Ultra Sun got corrupted. When he tried to start it back up again it started the game over. I looked at the save file but it appears that his old one got overwritten. He had just gotten to Paniola Town. Does anyone have a save file from around there so he wouldn't have to start back at the beginning?

While he was playing Ultra Sun, he said something appeared on the bottom screen and now the game starts back at the beginning. I'm assuming his save got corrupted. I do have CFW installed but unfortunately have no backups of the save file. I looked at the game in PKSM but it's showing 0 pokemon. Is there anything I can try to recover his file? Edit: I believe this is the save file. I don't know if it's corrupted or if it's been overwritten with a new game save somehow. main
