Just as title says, I'm looking for some help with extracting a certain Pokémon from the Hall of Fame data from either game. I've been researching for a while now but I'm not getting anywhere, and I'm doing my best to learn the software. I understand that the HoF only saves a pretty shallow version of the Pokémon used against the Elite 4, but I would love to learn how to look at this data myself anyways. I'm very new to the various software, so any help will go a long way. Even if someone could point me to some guides for hex editing, opening ROMs and looking at bytes and how to navigate them (specifically the gen 3 games) would be great. For those curious about the Pokémon I'm trying to bring back; I'm trying to bring back a Dragonite I accidently deleted when I flew too close to the sun with the Emerald Battle Tower Clone Glitch. I made a stupid mistake that cost me my Dragonite, who I transferred from Fire Red after I beat the Kanto E4 recently, who I used to beat the Hoenn E4 after. Please, any tips would be greatly appreciated.
