sorry could you explain that a little bit more like how we would do that. Also I had an idea just not sure if it works. Could we use the modded 3ds to get poke transporter (or ig PKSM) use that to transport them to to a version of USUM then do a trade from the modded 3ds to my 3ds (which has bank but that's it) then use my 3ds to transport to my HOME on my switch? Or does this not work because of trading from modded to unmodded or even servers? Thank you again

is there no way to use the modded 3ds to be able to read the game files while it's connected to a pc and copy over the files to PKHeX? Also, I was told that since the 3ds is a Japanese 3ds then we can't use it with bank to transfer to home or is this not true. I was told it's because the 3ds region is not the same as my American switch which is locked to the US. I have tried looking up everything I can but cannot find good answers anywhere, so I figured here is the best place to be asking. I am very new and unaware to all of this so sorry if I ask a lot of dumb questions. Thank you and sorry again.

I have a lot of mons in my copy of Black2 that is a collection of all my childhood mons of years of playing all the ds mainline games that I really want to transfer to the switch. I do not have a modded 3ds, but I have a friend who does have one that is whiling to help out. We cannot use Bank to home transfer because theirs is a Japanese 3ds and we are not able to do everything to make it compatible to transfer to Home. I was thinking of using PKSM or PKHeX to transfer this mons but I'm not too sure how to do it, everything for PKSM that I've seen only is to transvers to USUM which makes sense since PKSM only goes till gen 7. I have not been able to find anything for PKHeX to transfer from 3ds to switch. I am able to use a modded switch to use PKHeX on my pc to transfer it into the switch then trade it to my main switch the issue comes from the 3ds. Thank you in advance any help is much appreciated.
