    Yes, decompressed files open in hex editing. You can save them as compressed again. For adding a Pokémon and editing stats, PKHeX is much easier than hex editing. It lets you change everything easily.

    I'm a newbie here and excited to join the community! I’m a student in the computer field and, of course, a huge Pokémon fan. I'm here to engage with fellow fans and learn from you all.
