    Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm extracting the files via GBA backup tool on the r4. I tried the same process with originals cartridges of ruby, sapphire, leaf green and it worked perfectly. I edited saves in PKHeX without problems. But with this emerald unofficial cartridge this process is not working. Do you know another method that i could use to extract the save file from the emerald cartridge?

    Hi there, First topic, i hope i'm writing in the right place. Recently I bought a not official GBA cartridge of pokemon emerald and tried to change the save with PKHeX. It shows the following message: "binary is not compatible with save file. Current SAV genaration: 3" I read some posts here in the forum of other people having the same problem, but all of them were playing on PC emulators and had different options to get the sav file, thing that i can't do as I'm taking the .sav file from the cartridge via GBA backup tool on the r4 with the DS. I alredy tried saving two times before extracting the sav file: it was useless. I'm using PKHeX on on a Mac via Wine. Any help is much appreciated POKEMON_EMER_BPEI00.sav
