  1. Hello, I made a Reddit thread on this topic before with no response so I thought I would post it here. TLDR: Progress made in Pokemon Emerald is not the same when viewed from the file itself compared to when booting it on my Miyoo Mini +. Any help with figuring out how to update my save files would be appreciated thank you. (I already tried using SyncThing to no avail, too difficult to sync devices,)
  2. @Kaphotics Alright, appreciate the help. I was able to figure it out thanks to the Discord server. Yes, turning off the tab setting for the Encounter Database helped make it so the Pokemon actually appear wild with random nature and abilities.
  3. Hello @Kaphotics thank you for the suggestion. Are you referring to the advanced setting in the Encounter Database window or the general PKHex settings? I am not familiar with how the advanced search functions so how would I use it to indicate a specific ability I want and to have it generate random natures rather than just the 1?
  4. Hello! @Kaphotics As mentioned in my post above^, I did use the encounter database but I didn’t like how the only Pokémon available for SouSilver for the ones I listed had a “Hardy” nature or for Sentret, only the ability “Run Away” when I know it can have “Keen Eye” too. At the moment, I am thinking of catching them organically in-game but then use PKHex to level them up instead of doing it in-game.
  5. Hello! I recently lost my save progress on my emulated SoulSilver playthrough. That meant I lost Pokemon I caught and leveled up. I was thinking of using PKHex to enter the Pokemon I lost but I keep encountering the same error: This happens if I try to change their ability or nature. I tried using the Encounter Database but I noticed that they all had the same nature of "Hardy" and they may not have the ability I want. I am trying to use RNG Reporter but I am not quite familiar with how it works exactly. I simply want to enter the Pokemon I lost although I don't remember their information and I want them to be as genuine (legal) as possible as I am trying to playthough the game like it was a true game. Does this error effect the Pokémon appearing in-game or does it mean it will simply be illegal if used in competition? Here is a list of the Pokemon I want: A Furret named "Furissa" (Female) met at level 4 on Route 29 (SS) with the ability "Keen Eye" but is at level 10. A Zubat named "Crawford" (Male) met at level 4 on Route 32 (SS) with the ability "Inner Focus" but is at level 10. A Hoothoot named "Noah" (Male) met at level 5 on Route 31 (SS) with the ability "Insomnia" but is at level 10. A Rattata named "Randall" (Male) met at level 6 on Route 31 (SS) with the ability "Guts" but is at level 10. The nature shouldn't matter to me but I also don't want them all to be the same and the move set should be what they organically learn as they level up. If anyone can help me figure out how to enter the Pokemon I want^, legally that would be great, thank you!
