  1. Thanks. I actually tried that a bit after I posted, but after managing to legalize the mon and turning it into a QR code for PKSM to scan, I encountered the infamous "3DS almost cannot read gen 7 mon codes due to poor camera" problem. Tried for a while, with different light settings and image quality, but eventually gave up (it was almost 4AM, I was *really* tired from work and I had only myself to blame after "wasting" so much time) All in all, next morning I started a save in Crystal VC, unlocked the PC feature and just edited the Unown into my box directly through PKSM, since it requires much less info - and magically the auto legalize feature also worked in my favor. With Pokémon Transporter and Bank, I've finally completed the diabolic alphabet in my HOME. Idk why I didn't think about this before, but again I was super tired. Again, thanks for the suggestion, the encounterer database will be very helpful in the future when I learn how to export and import my saves to my laptop and back to my 3DS (noob here).
  2. Nevermind, I just found on the program Options under the commands. You need to click Shift + Click on the pokémon sprite to bring up the QR code. Sorry, I'm just dumb.
  3. I'm sorry once again if I'm asking something stupid but I've been searching on Google for the last hour and all I found was a website QR code generator where you needed to drag your pokémon file and this QR Code is a invalid format when I try to scan it with PKSM. This is what I'm trying to do, as per PKSM wiki: But I can't seem to locate any QR code function in PKHéx. Do I need to download any extras? Please, this has been bothering a lot since it seems like a very simple thing, but I can't find the answer to.
  4. Hello! This is my first time posting here and also the first time I'm using PkHéx, so apologies for any mistakes or noob questions. I've been trying to create an Unown (A) in PkHéx, so I can generate a QR code and scan with PKSM, which is the primary way I've been editing my Ultra Sun save. I was having trouble with OT Memories and I couldn't edit it in PKSM because the code "block" was locked. In PkHéx, although I was still having trouble with Memory editing when I was making a Unown from Crystal, when I changed to HG, it apparently went away. But other problems appeared, namely the PID+ mismatch as seen below. I did some research and apparently Gen 4 and 5 mons need a specific PID combination with their Nature/Shiny/Ability/Stats, so I downloaded Pokegen and used their tool to find a possible PID for the Unown I was generating. Then, I copied the IVs and Nature to PkHéx. The thing is, when I went to input the PID from Pokegen unto PkHéx, the digit limit doesn't match. I can only type "45304592", with the last digit (5) missing. It also says Nature mismatch when both are set as Hardy. I'm not sure what "Encounter's type" means and how it affects the PID. In a side note, can someone suggest me a good place where I can familiarize myself with these terms and PkHéx error codes? The amount of errors I had to search on these forums (Memories, Met locations, OT/HT expected values, etc) made me realize how lost I was when it comes to legality checks and the ins and outs of the program. Any help or guidance is highly appreciated! Thank you.
