  1. Hey there! I already looked for answers to this question but coulnd't find anything satisfactory. Question is: Say a Pokemon from Y remembers that I beat a gym leader with it in my team and later I beat the champion with that same Pokemon, will the memory always 100% in every case update to "battled on the trainers side and beat the champion"? Or is that only a percentage chance and therefore not always the case? Is there a "memory hierarchy" so some memories that the games deems more important will always be remembered? Probably difficult to find the answer to but thought I'd give it a try.
  2. I tested it and it worked exactly like you said, thank you, that was very helpful!
  3. Can someone please explain what exactly this value represents? Now, this might sound dumb at first since it's literally in the name "OT friendship", however, I can't seem to get that value to display correctly based on OT friendship across multiple games. Example: Say I drag and drop a gen 4 PKMN from a gen 4 save into a gen 7 save with said pokemon having 255 friendship in gen 4. In gen 7 however, the value doesnt show me that that was the case and the even weirder thing is that even if I change the value to 255 (or 0, litrerally doesnt matter), PKHEX doesnt flag it as illegal or even fishy so does this value get deleted when I transfer it from Bank to HOME anyway and thats why it doesnt matter in to the programs eyes? Super confused on the legality here
  4. Say I create a Pokemon in Fire Red with maxed friendship and drop it into an Ultra Sun save. Under OT friendship it then shows me the base friendship for the Pokemon, however, I can change the OT friendship to max again and it wont be flagged as illegal/fishy. I figured that these contradict one another as one hand it resets OT frndshp but on the other hand it doesnt flag anything if I change it back to 255? What exaclte do the games "think" happens there? Asking because if I transfer a max level pokemon it would be very much fishy if the OT friendship is at a base level but the Level is 100. What I also noticed is that if I create a virtual console Celebi it then will flag OT 255 as illegal because it "doesnt match event base friendship" which then completely confused me as how would it know that I didnt max out its friendship on OT? Also, why does it matter on virtual console specifically but not on gen 3/4 games?

    Bug Report

I had to look for the X really hard lol, thanks for the info. Been using Pkhex for literal years and never noticed it. Could you perhaps explain to me what exactly I did wrong? Would love to know what's causing this and how I can fix it because as I mentioned above, other Pokemon I created with basically the same met/location/encounter type data are just fine.

    Bug Report

Found a small bug. This shuckle here is perfectly legal, created in a Heart Gold save file. When I drag and drop it into a Sun/Moon or Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon save file the encounter type changes from rock smash in vermillion city to safari zone --> safari grass and is instantly marked as illegal. The reasons it then gives are "Invalid: Can't match an encounter from origin game" and "Invalid: Can't have ball for encounter type". I tried dragging and dropping the shuckle into a gen 5 and 6 game, none of which marked the pokemon as illegal. The encounter type is also displayed correctly, it specifically happens on Gen 7 saves. Also I tried the same thing with a diglett from same location, same encounter type and it works just fine so it's specifically Gen 7 and specifically Shuckle encoutered through rock smash lol Edit: Another thing I noticed is that Pokemon dragged and dropped from gen 3 and 4 to Gen 7 specifically, suddenly change their location and encounter type but it doesn't make or mark them illegal. Doesn't happen when dropped into gen 5&6 saves. 0213 - SHUCKLE - 96F492543FB6.pk4
