I always thought destiny bond only lasts for a turn, and that you must go first for it to work, as in you're either fast and used destiny bond, or paralyze the opponent and then use it. But during online play, I fought a Gardevoir which was slower than my pokemon, who just continuously used destiny bond after I attacked. If final faints after 3 attacks, and destiny bond activates.
