I have save files that I have freshly dumped with JKSV that PKHeX says are "too large". Including saves that were exported by PKHeX itself and successfully imported back into my console.
My most recent files are 1603122 bytes (dumped today), vs 1603146 bytes (a backup file from June, which PKHeX imports A-OK).
I'm using Linux. Both Mono and Wine seem to give me the same issue.
What gives?

Not sure which .NET Framework you have set up; be sure you're on at least .NET 4.6.1 (4.8 would work too).
PKHeX is gradually shifting away from the .NET Framework and will eventually jump to .NET 6+ (before or after November), which will no longer work with Wine.
Will WindowsForms also be done away with to make it cross-platform if .NET 4.6 is gone? Or will this simply become a Windows-only shenanigans?

Any chance to use something like MAUI or something similar that has at least a chance to have Linux support so people don't have to use a VM to PKHex?
