Hi everyone.
First of all, I don't know if I'm posting this in the proper place. If that's not the case, I'm sorry, I don't know exactly where this belongs.
I've been onto RNG manip for a while now (almost a year) through almost every single game of every gen. Now that I'm reaching Scarlet/Violet, I know it's not possible to RNG manip anymore. My question and my doubt about this is pretty simple. In past generations, I could catch a Pokémon (wild, static, or whatever the method) and change his data via PkHex, using the knowledge of RNG manip (looking for seeds, PID, and those things in RNG Reporter / PokeFinder). But now, in Scarlet and Violet, as we don't have that data, how would you modify a Pokemon to make it shiny/have specific IVs? Like, is that even possible without going illegal? Do you have to follow any rule? Or could you just swap whatever data you want (as long as it is not a raid encounter) and still keep it legal?
Sorry if I'm not expressing myself properly, English is not my native language.
Thanks for the help in advance! -

SWSH Regis are not raid Pokémon or overworld Pokémon, so they do not use those spreads. They are scripted static encounters that are purely csprng, so any values you want to set are legal, including if you simply catch one and shinify it.
And yes, even though Regigigas appears in a raid den, it's not a real raid den and doesn't use raid correlation. It's still a scripted static encounter.
Thank you very much ^^
I really appreciate the answer.
May I ask if it is the same for Cobalion, Virizion and Terrakion? Or do they behave as an Overworld encounter? Thanks in advance and sorry for the questions hahaha. -
As far as I know, they are not shiny locked (correct me if I'm wrong).
I captured all of them in my game, and now I am trying to convert them into shiny. I've been searching here but I haven't been able to found anything on how to do it properly.
I've done this with Max Raids Pokémon and Overworld8 mons (with the Overworld8/Max Raid IV Searcher plugin). But as I said... I haven't been able to find how to do it (again, properly) with static encounters as the Regis.
I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Now I've checked that turning on the option "Raid Dens" in the Game enforced details of the encounter" part of the Overworld8/Max Raid IV Searcher plugin, makes the Pokemon legal when I send it to Viewer. Is this the way to go? -

Hi everyone. As the new update has dropped, I was going to try to create a Shiny Gimmighoul from the past Tera Raid Event. I use the encounter database on the proper one (lvl 75 from a 5* raid, that's the only one that could be shiny). But when I make it shiny, it flags it as illegal. I'm pasting here the error, in case anyone can help me. I'd really appreciate it, thanks in advance.

I've been getting this when I change the PID or the Tera Type for a Pokémon caught in a Raid. I've fixed changing it back to original or making it an egg mon with an original tera type and a override tera type as the one I want.
I'll try this and tell you. Thanks for the answer ^^

Mouse click the Latest Handler area below the OT area. The green box would shift down. The green box represents which trainer is the current owner.
... damn.
That was it. Thank you so much for all the help!! -

You should screenshot the error message (click on the red flag next to the mon's icon), or upload us the .PKx if you want assistance with the modifications you're doing.
Use the encounter database (Tools -> Data -> Encounter Database) to generate a proper Rayquaza from an origin game of your choice.
When you're doing modifications to some Pokémons, please keep in mind that there are PID-IV RNG correlations.
Here's the tutorial for Gen 3 stuff:Everything done, step by step.
But, I only get 1 Error Message. The one attached... I can't find what is the mistake. I used the encounter database as you told me and I did follow the tutorial for Gen 3 (about shiny, PID-IV correlations).
What could it be now? -

Hello everyone. This is my first attempt to learn how to handle PKHeX, in a more deep way.
I was trying to create a shiny Rayquaza for Pokémon Shield, but wanted to be the "Emerald" one. After putting everything to be legal, I keep getting the "illegal flare". As I'm not used to use PKHeX yet, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Could someone lend me a hand please?
Thanks everyone!
EDIT: I alread changed the Met date to 2005, the year Emerald was released.
