I have been trying to use that but no matter what I do, if I check memories at PokeCentre, he will always say it came from Link Trade. Do I need to do something else on these screens so that the mon only has one memory, so it looks like an encounter and not a trade?
I have myself selected, and set a memory:

Hi there!
I am trying to understand how memories work.
Take Groudon from Max Lair as example. The one I caught only has memories with me. But if I use PKHeX to make one, the "remember a move" guy in the PokeCentre will say Groudon has memories with a previous trainer. Is there a way to not have "previous" memories so it looks like it was caught as opposed to traded?

I wanted to create shiny starters in PLA based on encounters I've had in the game. So I started with the Encounter Database and used this Cyndaquil that had the OverworldMMO as Encounter Type.
I then made changes to the TID/SID, and made the stats 10's. And lastly, made it shiny.
But when I save this file and try to send it to a Arceus trade bot, I get the following message:
"PA8 attachment is not legal, and cannot be traded!"
And when I go one step further and just paste the text of the pa8 file, I get this:
"Requested shiny value (ShinyType.Always) is not possible for the given set."Would anyone know why setting this particular Pokemon to shiny would lead to this error? I get this when trying to make shiny from any of the "OverworldMMO" Pokemon in the Encounter Database.

Yes, the OT details as well as origin game are correct.
However, I've realized that this can likely only be done with a modded switch where I would modify the save file directly, and re-import. I unfortunately do not have a modded switch and was relying on bots but was hoping there was a way to force it so it wouldn't have a "traded" memory.
Unless I am mistaken and it can be done with a trade bot.
