See, I solved the Rocket-Power Plant issue after talking to Misty out by Bills house, beat the gym, then went to find Suicune at Route 14 to send him running to Bills house, , so I don't really know what to say. I dunno if it has to be done in that order, or what.

Hello everyone, I'm urgood1.

I have Heart Gold Japanese version and am at Cerulean Gym. There was initially no one there of course, and I've gone through the bridge and fought throught everyone as well as route 9 and 10. Finally I got to the Power Plant. I talked to everyone in there and the fat guy next to the power machine gave me a TM 53 I think. And I tried to leave the Power Plant. However, the guard didn't stop or mention anything about the Team Rocket and all. I went back to the city, the gym, and the bridge. No one was there still. I've followed the youtube channel "http://www.youtube.com/user/giancarlopa… for walkthrough and read "http://www.gamershell.com/faqs/pokemonh… as well for it. I followed step by step. But I just seem not to get the right thing. Is there anything that I did wrong or didn't do yet? Would you guys please help me out on this problem? Otherwise, I'll be stuck forever... =[ (I know there should be a Power Plant issue with Team rocket, but I just dont know how to trigger this issue)

P.S. From what DarkZBoy said, I went to Lavender Town. But I couldn't find the running guy... But the main reason the guard didn't stop me in the power plant now. Because the machine is still WORKING... I have no idea how that happened. I've done everything I remembered and follwed the walkthrough as well. The power plant is still going and nothing has been stolen by the Team Rocket yet. So what's the problem now?

Does anyone know where the part is for the Power Plant? I know in the old games it was in the water, but the gym has changed.

Here are the things I did, People are saying its a glitch or something:

- went to the power plant after visiting running man in Lavender town, Phone call happens telling me to goto the Gym.

- I confronted the rocket, chased him to the bridge, and beat him

- Went to the Cape and found misty

- beat Misty, still don't have a part

- Went BACK To lavender town, man is still running, then went back to the power plant, and nothing.

Thank you Poryhack and Grovyle91 for helping me with my SAV problems. Now I know how to use the HxD to chop down everything and make good use of your editer. I'm glad that you two took your time helping me with my problems. Thank you very much!! =D

First off, your save file shouldn't be 1MB. The proper size for any 4th gen pokemon save is 512KB. Either the savetype autodetection in your flashcard is bad, or you set it to the wrong size.

I'm not sure how you converted down to 512 KB but it appears it wasn't done correctly. I got it to work by just chopping the extra 512 KB off the end. You can download the fixed file below.

Thank you for going through all the troubles with my SAV file. I think my R4i's autodetection was just being dumb to make the SAV files 1 MB, including both Platinum and Heart Gold SAV.

Now my questions are, "How did you chop down the other 512 KB end and make the file work just fine? Would you please teach me how to do that because I want to learn some new skills? And Would you do me another favor to chop down the other 512 KB from my newer Heart Gold SAV file because later on today, I had beaten 2 more gyms?"

If you could help me chop down the file and teach me how to do it, I'll be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much for your kindness and your consideration.

Hi Grovyle 91.

I'm urgood1. I saw your post on Pokémon Mystery Gift Editor (v1.2) saying that you wrote the program to import the PGT file. I tried to use yours to import the Enigma Crystal event into my SAV. However, I couldn't even open my SAV file.

In the beginning, I've changed my SAV size down to 512 KB from 1 MB. But when I loaded the SAV file again, this time it said, " '65535' is not a valid value for 'Value.' The value for 'Value' should be within the range of 'Minimum' and 'Maximum.' "

I saw everyone else's SAV files work just fine. I just don't get how mine just doesn't work. Would you please see what the problem is and solve it for me please? I'll try to post this message up in the tread along with my SAV file. Thank you very much sir and have a wonderful day!! =D
