Unable to transfer save

Hi folks.

I'm using NC to transfer my edited save file back to diamond, but when the transfer is done, nothing happens on diamond. Also, when I save on diamond again and resend the file, it reverts back to what it was before the editing. The upload succeeds without error.

What could be causing this?

This is what I did:

1. Dumped Diamond save.

2. Added a Salamence to Box 1, slot 17.

3. Transfered save back, Salamence was there.

4. Realising I made a mistake when creating it, I edited it again.

5. I transfered the new edited save back to Diamond.

6. When Diamond loaded, the recent changes I made did not show.

7. I moved some Pokemon around and moved outside the PkMN Center and re-transferd the save.

8. I was back at step 6, the changes did not copy over.
