Deceptional
Hi, I'm new to PokeSAV and I just want to edit Natures and IV's so I don't have to breed 30 eggs. However, while researching I came upon Secret ID's, how do I consider these for the legitimacy of my Pokemon? In addition, what is the generic rule for what IV my Pokemon can have based on it's Base stats? Obviously I'm not going to use 31's, but for my sweepers is it reasonable for a Salamence to have 28 ATK and 26 SPD? How would it's DEF and stuff compare? Like put 10 or something? How does that compare with Gyarados which has much lower base speed? Thanks!
randomcouchpotato
if they are hatched the ivs are completely unrelated to the pid and can be set to anything, also the sid is just there to determine if a pokemon is shiny and to help determine if the pokemon was caught or received in a trade. and about base stats, those are to determine maximum and minimum stats not ivs
Deceptional
if they are hatched the ivs are completely unrelated to the pid and can be set to anything, also the sid is just there to determine if a pokemon is shiny and to help determine if the pokemon was caught or received in a trade.and about base stats, those are to determine maximum and minimum stats not ivs Thanks I plan on making all the Pokemon hatched. So just to clarify, I need to find my SID and PID to make the Pokemon officially my user? Or is the SID relevant to the Pokemon itself since you mention that it determines if it is Shiny or not. Thanks again
randomcouchpotato
yes, you would need to find out your sid to make it specific to your user
