WHen making a pokemon hatched, does the PID matter to make it shiny and if not what does?

Yes, shininess is determined by the PID. Pokesav already does this automatically, and you should not have to worry about IV's matching.

Umm, are you sure it does it automatically? Arent Shiny PIDS hard to find?

Overthinkingly is correct. Last I checked, hatched Pokemon's PIDs have no specific algorithm, thus easily can be shiny.

Wild Pokemon, on the other hand, can be somewhat difficult to make shiny, unless you know how to do so.

So any random PID will do with any set of IVs?

Yep, anything works, provided it is a hatched Pokemon.
