Action Replay DSi not recognizing HG

Hey everyone,

I bought a AR DSi today to use with heart gold. The problem I am having is that the AR itself does not think a game is inserted when HG is in. Whenever I go to start the game it says "please make sure a Game Cartridge is inserted. So has anyone else had this problem? what should i do?

The game was not fully pushed in, i feel like an idiot.

you might need to update the software

I pressed update software in the PC application and it says it is up to date, any other suggestions?

have you added the game to the codelist while on the pc?

I did, the codes are showing in the AR, i can select Heart Gold cheats but just not load the game
