starjake Posted March 17, 2010 Share Posted March 17, 2010 For reasons beyond my understanding, I can't open my .sav file in PokeSav; whenever I try to, it gives me a "Wrong File Type!" error message. Divine Insect Posted March 19, 2010 Share Posted March 19, 2010 Did you download HG as a rom, or did you dump data from your retail cartridge? I've heard people on the Team Cyclops forums (the folks who make the CycloDS Evolution flash cartridge) talk about having problems dumping cartridge data and incompatibility issues with the current official firmware release. If you downloaded HG as a rom, maybe it's corrupted? Could it be an emulator problem? If you're using a flash cart, maybe it has compatibility issues with HG? Whichever method you're using, I suggest seeing if the hardware/software you're using to play HeartGold has a support forum or something. Regardless of whether it's an emulator, rom, flash cart, or device to dump data from a retail cart, there could be compatibility issues. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
