Met At Location in HGSS Pokesav Confusion

On the HGSS Pokesav, when editing a pokemon, in the drop down list where you choose the location you the pokemon was met at it look like the list only has DPP locations. I didn't see the HGSS towns and routes. Am I missing something?

I am having the same problem understanding why there are DIAMOND AND PEARL locations for a HEARTGOLD/SOULSILVER pokesav.

Also, when loading a save file from a heartgold rom, you are given the location FARAWAYPLACE with number 3002 as the location, even though it was clearly caught in route 32, or given to you by professor elm.

This issue is very hard to get around if you want to create legitimate heartgold/soulsilver pokemon that you own...
