I know there's lots of discussions on this but couldn't find the nuance so wanted to ask here.

With ZA, Pokopia, Champions, and Gen10 announce, I've been getting back into Pokémon lately after being away from series for like a decade. Started playing Violet on emu since I remembered hearing about terrible performance, ended up really liking it and bought the cart but got addicted and played like 100 hours on the emu save before the cart got here. I wanted to put the save from emu to the Switch, but the issue is that the Switch has been online (without violet) while I was playing violet on emu - so if I load the save into the Switch via nand mount, I'm afraid of a log detecting discrepancy in save date data (adventure started date is during period while switch is online AND having no violet game activity).

My idea is to take the switch offline for a while (like month+), then later use pkhex batch edit on my save to revise adventure start date & all pokemon caught under same TID to be within a period of time that the switch is "offline", and then load the save in. Is this really dumb? I haven't touched pkhex since 3DS era and not sure if there are other parts of modern online environment that are hidden tracked in the logs - for example, became champion on ___ date, ___ pokemon's PID could only be caught on ___ date, etc.

I assume the safest way to keep all the pokemon is to make new game on Switch 2, load the violet save I have now onto Switch1 emunand, then link trade...but would be a bummer to have to go redo all of the exploration and cutscenes etc just to have a "complete" working save even if the pokedex part is mostly trivialized. Any advice/experience on above would be appreciated!
