Mega ring not visible in X/Y after changing character

So when I started my game, I selected Calem as my character, later down the road (after getting the mega ring) I changed my character to Serena using pkhex, and the mega ring dissappeared.

It can still be used, but it makes the mega evolution animation look weird because the ring is missing, I even tried to change my character back to Calem but the mega ring is still Invisible.
