Trying to get mightiest marks I missed out on

So I missed out on about half of the might mark events that ended up happening across the games' life span and I'm trying to get them through pkHex. I don't have a modded switch so directly altering my save doesn't appear to be an option for me. I figured I could just get the .pk9 files for the pokemon I wanted and have a bot trade them to me, only problem is the met location will state that I received them through a link trade. I think that if I make it so that the genned pokemon have my TID, SSID and OT then the game will think the pokemon were caught on my game though and it will display the correct met location. Can anyone confirm with me just to make sure I'm not just spouting nonsense?
