Pokemon Alpha Sapphire save frozen in Petalburg City

Hi, I have this Pokemon Alpha Sapphire file that was corrupted but fixed in a separate forum. However, upon entering the game it freezes, forcing me to turn the 3DS off. If I'm quick, I can enter the menu but I can't fly anywhere and entering the pokemon screen freezes the game again. This behaviour is consistent on my 3DS and mainon an emulator. Is anyone able to point out the issue for the freeze/fix it? Thank you in advance!
