Can't Modify PID of Gen III (Emerald) Hall of Fame Pokemon

When I was a kid, I dumped my save from my original cart with the NDS save dumper to play on emulator. I modified my lead Absol on Emerald to be shiny because I always wanted one.

As I got older, I regretted it as I had not legitimately obtained it and, after finding the original pre-edit backup on an old HDD, I replace the Absol's fake PID/IVs with the legitimate one I caught all those years ago.

It's been smooth sailing except for the fact that my Hall of Fame slots 0 and 1 have the old PID of that mon and I've been waiting to see if there'd ever be a way to edit the PID back to its legit one.

I noticed with the previous update to PkHex, HoF editing has been added for Gen III but when I go to use the editor, the PID refuses to edit no matter what I do. Is this a bug or am I just not able to edit that field?

I have been hunting for the legit shiny for years now to no avail and have roughly calculated the odds of an encounter to be 1 after 200 hours on Route 120 using the repel method.
