BLACKBERREST3
Intro So I have played pretty much every Pokémon game and spinoff except x, y, black/white, black/white 2, and maybe a few ones outside of my region (US). I have never saved my collection for any of these games, but I always made sure to 100% the dex when I did play them. I have now returned after so many years to play the new switch titles and I want a comprehensive collection of all possible combinations of unique Pokémon for my database. I want that because Pokémon Home is only useful for transferring pokemon and I'd much rather use pkhex as my storage box. Rules 1. All Male, Female, Shiny, Non-Shiny, Alternate/Regional/Totem Forms (outside permanent forms only), All Fused/Special Combinations (more on this later) 2. If it can be bred in that game, it will be. 3. All Natures (batch export after collection is complete) 4. Adhere to special limitations of each game (Transfers, Trades, Events, Shiny, Nature, IVs, Level, Memory, Gender, Country, Region, Ability, Ball, OT, TID, SID, etc.) 5. All Origin Marks 6. All Events/Gifts with special properties/moves Final Notes/Questions I will acknowledge that pokemon stadium transfers are illegal, but they will stay in another folder and be moved up all the same. I think Pokémon home will take these from bank funny enough. I've done a lot of research into the obscure mechanics for each game, but there are probably some that I have missed and/or do not know about. If anyone could share some obscure facts that would help with my collection, that would be greatly appreciated. I've already downloaded Roc's pc to get me started on my journey and I know about dream pokemon and their hidden abilities which is why I included that in the batch script when breeding. memories are a bit confusing. idk the legality of these when moving pokemon upwards through generations. I've just set it to zero in USUM, but idk what else I would be missing if i tried to move them up in other games? using the methods I've described above, are there any duplicate origin marks if I move every pokemon from every game upwards? i.e what data is lost when transferring upwards that turn these pokemon into duplicates? does the origin data get saved across generations? idk how else to ask this, it is a difficult question. Downloads Below I have included a download of what I have done so far. Every male/female/shiny variant available in game all with HA if legal, 0EVs and max stats/ribbons. I will have to play the older games to catch mythicals, unknown, and others not in USUM. I've grouped everything as best I could so you can batch script your way to change the ot, sid, tid, handler ids, pids, ec, and anything else you would want to change. If changing the pid/ec, be sure to use the filter/export feature of pkmndb or batch script logic to specify which pokemon to edit. BLACKBERREST3
I've also played snap, channel, trozii, mystery dungeons, rangers, and puzzle league. I don't think I played that 1 ds game where pokemon were set in the medieval era.
BLACKBERREST3
found some more obscure facts https://www.smogon.com/ingame/guides/gen_exclusive_moves in order for pokemon to be “legit” in one game, they have to have different trainer/secret ids for game version differences, region differences, pokemon fusion/dna splicing/evolution stages of legendary/mythical. there is no way to simply download a database for this, but i can group everything into different folders. I’ll share something later on this.

BLACKBERREST3
while delving into the legality of pokemon eggs, trainer ids, and secret ids, I have found out that hatching a pokemon from an egg will set the OT, TID, and SID as the hatcher. This means that you can have all (non-event) vivillion set as the OT for your game and it will be legal. This is because you can trade a foreign egg to your game and hatch it to give it your own IDs. Also for lycanroc, you can trade it to another game, evolve it, and trade it back to retain your OT status on it to get either midday or midnight form respectively. BLACKBERREST3 Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM (edited) more notes on legality of 3ds vc games, IVs (DVs), gender, and poketransporter. Here is a pidgey file that was transported through pokemon blue [Jap] -> bank -> USUM. Turns out that game of origin is saved from vc to bank. All I changed was the console region and country to match what "should" be there as pkhex already accounts for this. Also, in poketransporter 1.2, a random gender was assigned instead of calculating what it should be off of DVs (now in 1.3 or greater). This means that all forms of gender/shiny combos in gen 1&2 are possible when transferring upwards through bank. Can't say for certain what move sets are legal, but you are able to trade between rby and gbc to get certain origin game met locations, movesets, and to breed for perfect dv pokemon (red gyarados mimic ditto breeding). Only thing I can think of that wouldn't be shiny is unknown forms other than I&V. Since poketransporter 1.2 (when shiny calculation was wrong) was before GSC were supported, there is still no legal way to get other shiny unknown forms unless I am wrong and have missed something on this. more tests will be done. 0016 - ポッポ - CC17AB69971A.pk7 Edited yesterday at 03:20 AM by BLACKBERREST3
