Change Japanese name and OT of a JPN Pokémon to an English Nickname and OT

I'm trying to edit the name and OT of a shiny Colosseum Scizor. The Scizor is Japanese but I'm trying to change its name and OT to an English name.

However, when I do so, PKHeX states the following errors:

Invalid: Nickname is empty.

Invalid OT Name too short.

 

Can this be done, and if so, what am I doing wrong?
