Zanzii Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Hello folks So basically I thought of an idea inspired from videos on YouTube. I was watching several playthroughs of streamers and content creators playing through HG/SS with the concept that they only can use shinies. It gave me an idea to try it with a painful yet annoying twist. To play the game normally, but only using normal variant pokemon. The catch being that instead of the 1/8192 chance of encountering a shiny, it's swapped to a normal. In other words, every pokemon is a shiny and that rare 1/8192 chance is now a chance for a normal variant and not a shiny. Slight problem is that I have tried to do research on this, literally spending days scouring but have had 0 luck even coming close. Is there any line of code whatsoever that can make that idea possible?
sergiotarxz Posted March 4 Posted March 4 You can use the pret dissasemblies to modify the C reversed source code of pokemon emerald for example.
