What is safest way to get old pokemon events?

Hello, first of all I want to say thanks to this community for so many contributions.

Now that The Pokemon Company is implementing real Hack Checks I want to be sure to have my pre-home event pokemons the best way possible, I know that I'm late to have those events legit but if I can get 100% legal pokemon for my collection it would be nice. 

Actually I made them with the mystery gift data base and encounter database (for those that needed event items like gen 3 faraway island mew) and carefuly editing them so they can be the best genned pokemon possible using pkhex (correct PID, correct and realistic IVs, met dates, language, 3ds region, etc.) then put them in bank and now they are in pokemon home.

But I don't know if that's good enough and maybe inyecting wonder cards and receive them in the console is a superior option, I actually own the games that I need its just a matter of putting the time to reclaim them in every game. 

So my question is within your knowledge what is the safest and superior option to have 100% legal event mons:

1. mystery gift database / encounter database

or

2. inyecting the wonder card? 

Or maybe there's no difference at all???
