Alpha Sapphire save data corrupted

I was in the middle of EV training, and checked my progress on PKSM. Then when I restarted the game, I got "the save game data is corrupted," as you do. PKHex refused to open it, and while PKSM was okay with it at first, it wasn't after I took the SD card out of my system.

Now, this isn't a huge problem for me because I have a recent backup. You'd be surprised what you can get done in a month, though, so I would prefer to fix it somehow. There's apparently a procedure for this sort of thing, but I'm not quite sure what it is exactly, so I figured I might as well post here instead of potentially causing more issues. How do you fix it?
