IgnisSpace Posted November 3, 2023 Share Posted November 3, 2023 (edited) Static Trainers for USUM are a mess. To start each battle increase constant number 83 value by one. Double battles, blue background, are still considered a +1 of the constant's value. The green background shows that these are consecutive battles and each will add 1 on its own. This constant is already mapped in the Event Constants tab as "Total Important NPC battles" and it different from the "Trainers Battle" in the Trainer info Stat, which will also increase by 1. Certain trainers will have a note, so be sure to check it out. Some trainers have their own constants but they are fairly simple. Any battle that is not mention means it has to change the story constant. As my previous posts I didn't include them because I don't want to break the game just to allow players to skips these battles. If they have 2 or more flags better set them all. Some addition side story battles like Mystery investigation I didn't include. Note 3: Kagetora same as [SM], Flag 1400 will unset after you talk to him spawning all of eevee users. c707, 0 -> haven't spoken with him 1 -> spoken and flag 1400 unsets. 2 -> unlike [SM] did not change after beating the last eevee user. 3 -> Defeated. Note 4: Rita will still yell even if she is not there (it must be another flag before the battle, I forgot about it in the second play-through) Note 5: Flag 545 will only get activated if you use a Z move in battle and you wouldn't have to re-battle her the next day. Flag 1854 will be set in [UM] at the start of the game. Note 6: Nainoa Constant, c774, values breakdown are: 1 -> finding the bottle on the beach, 2 -> talking to him / failing to defeat him ( able to battle him) 3 -> Defeated Note 7: Skipping Maxie and Archie will not break your game and their respective constant will allow you to push the button on the wall,. The second button will change the story progression constant. After defeating him and talking to him again Flag 655 will be set. Not entirely sure if this will prevent from resetting. Office Worker Royce is a daily battle. The 2 female skull grunts on 2F will reset after you progress in the game, constant will revert back to 1. In Malie Garden both Lisa and Don will have 2 flags that are active at the start of the game, hiding their sprite those will unset after defeating Guzma and will re-trigger the battles.
