Problem with Pokemon Gold 97

So i am honestly trying to search for a solution with a problem i am having, i started to play pokemon gold 97 reforged cause i love the design of several beta pokemons so i went to play the game, now i want to mention i did use save states and cheats mostly the infinite rare candy so i can make sure my team is all in equal levels, the one to spawn a eevee earlier cause i wanted to start with one and then evolved to leafeon, but after finishing the 4th gym all of the trainers have a weird glitch to them that cause them to one when you talk to them they will all look at the bottom no matter at what angle you talk to them and the worst one that if a trainer sees me from far away instead of walking at me they will just go away really really far away and in some case their dialoge will show up and in another they will just crash the game i did try to change the emulator,rom and even change to a newer version of the hack but still having issues so i wanted to see if there is any way to fix this or to fix my save so i can play it in the newer version of the hack.
