Making a ROM hack. (Help Request)

Hey guys,

I'm new here, if you haven't already noticed, and I need help with Advanced Map.

There are two things that elude me currently.

1. How to get May and Brendan sprites in FR/LG, and

2. How to change the music for a town, route, or building.

If anyone knows how these things work, please let me know.
