Exporting main save from pkhex then restoring it is not working pokemon violet

Nothing is working for me when i export the main save back to my sd card to override my current save when i restore it it just goes back to the old save it does not apply anything including pokemon, items and pokedex entries

Check how do u export the save, and then how do you restore the backup and if you're editing the "main" archive

Are you sure you're grabbing the correct exported SAV file when you drop it in the folder? Are you dropping it in the correct save folder? Are you restoring from that same folder?

I'm having the same issue as well. I've checked and I am opening and exporting it to the correct folder. If anyone knows any other possible solutions, please let me know!
