Trimming save file sizes for gen4 pokemon ranger carts

Hi, sorry if this is an easy fix but I can't find any answers online. I have the 3 pokemon rangers and I've found some save files that have the missions completed provided by insanenutter. However when I try to backup these saves I get errors saying they're the wrong file size. (524kb and they're supposed to be like 262kb)  

Does anyone have any idea how I can reduce the file size? I've tried checkpoint and twlsavetool.
