Alternate option in accessing Pokemon XG possible?

Hi there !

I was just wondering if it were possible to play Pokemon XG that hasn't been directly patched over my copy of XD: GoD?

Also wondering if there's here that has already had their fill of fun with the game and would be willing to send their SD card to myself for the enjoyment? (Not for free ofc)

 

I know i should be able to do it myself but I'm reluctant of getting a new windows OS laptop. (why can't chromebook open files that isn't a text doc? ugh)

 

P.S I'm sorry if i have violated any rules and if i happened to post this in the wrong thread. (I felt like it could of went anywhere!)
