This is for 3ds:

Make sure that your system is hacked and ready to go. If not, follow the guide here: https://3ds.hacks.guide/

After this step is done, you need to make sure you have a save manager installed like checkpoint. It has been a long time but I am pretty sure it is in the steps. After this, install pkhex here: https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/releases Download the latest version. Also, make sure to download the .zip file not the tar.gz. Before you start, open checkpoint on your 3ds and click back up save on whatever pokemon game you are trying to do. Name it whatever. After this, open the file and you are ready to go. Insert you 3ds sd card into the computer so that you can access your files. In the top left hand corner click file > open and then go to your pokemon main game file. If you don't know whre to go I will tell you. File > Open> 3ds > Checkpoint > saves > (click on the game that you want) > click on the folder and inside will be a file called "main". Open this and then you can get started. You can use the encounter data base to get every pokemon to make it easier on yourself if you don't already have the pokemon that you are trying to go for. To get to thins on pkhex click tools > data > encounter data base. From here, on the top right hand corner you can look up any pokemon that you want. Right click on the pokemon sprite that you want to copy or whatever and then click view. In here, you can edit whatever you want. After you are done, drag and drop the pokemon sprite into one of the pokemon boxes. Next, export the save by clicking file > export sav > save file at the bottom. It will ask you if you would like to replace the already existing main file, click yes. After this, remove the sd card and put it into your 3ds. Open checkpoint and then click on the game that you put a save file into. Click A twice to load it. It should say something like this game file was successfully loaded or something. Hope that I helped. Please ask anything if you are confused.
