Files export as just a File

I've never done any save editing before, so I wouldn't be surprised if I'm doing something wrong. Essentially I have created a pokemon using pkhex, selected export main and checked the file. When I hover over the file it says 'Type: File', which I am fairly certain it shouldn't. Is there some step I'm missing? Is there something I'm doing wrong? Help would be appreciated! Thanks!

You need to enter the file extension yourself, or pick the *.sav option in the export menu (dropdown at the bottom.)

Otherwise by default it uses the same file name as your original input file, including the file extension.
