I need some HELP

so my computer crashed and froze up to the point where i had to hold down the power button to turn it off. upon turning it back on, the background changed to some instruction image (i didnt snag a screenshot because i was kinda stressing out over it...) that said something about my Active Desktop crashing or something. It asked me if i wanted to restore my Active Desktop or whatever, so I clicked "Restore"

after clicking restore i opened my google chrome browser and all the subtext on every website looks like this ↓

(this will stretch the page because it's a full screen screenshot)

can anyone help me?

EDIT: it fixed itself?
