SHINY/MODIFY PID :(This code will modify IVs) Question!

Hello,

I have been trying to SR for a shiny Tornadus but I own a Powersaves and my question is apart from changing the IV's of the Pokémon if I catch a none shiny Tornadus then use the SHINY/MODIFY PID :(This code will modify IVs) to turn it shiny will it be just the same as if I caught it shiny legitimately?
