Darkrai Event Help

I naïvely saved in front of Darkrai, forgetting I was aiming on a Shiny and forgot to collect several hundred Luxury Balls to capture it, and the problem is that you cannot escape the island by flying or using the boat, so I'm stuck.

There is the option to flee, and go collect some Luxury Balls, but what I'm asking is can someone tell me if the Darkrai I have fled will be the same one that I will encounter or will I meet a new randomised Darkrai (and hopefully shiny)?

I'd appreciate the help.

well why dont you use an ar code to get some luxury balls here is a code for 999 luxury balls on platinum

just press l + r and they will be in your ball pocket

I'm using a legit copy, not an AR.

Fleeing may be able to work... I remember in FRLG if you flee from Moltres, leave the cave, enter again, it will be back there. I don't think during the event you can leave the island without hacks though... so I don't think you'd be able to buy luxury balls...

Nevermind.

Risked it and fled, bought some Luxury Balls and returned to be in front of Darkrai.

Saved.

Caught Darkrai, wrote down it's stats.

Reset.

Caught Darkrai again, it's stats were different.

So, it will stay, and randomise.
