Pokegen not recognizing my pokemon?

Hello, I'm new to Pokegen. Right now I'm trying to use it to evolve my Rhydon into a Rhyperior and Kadabra to Alakazam in Platinum, since I cannot do this using an emulator. I do not own a Nintendo DS and am simply trying to edit my save file that I play using Desmume. When I open my save file with Pokegen, it does not show all of the pokemon I have in possession. It is missing 3-4 of the Pokemon whose stats I would like to edit. Any help would be appreciated!
