How to make sure a pokemon isnt bugged?

Hello,

Is there any way to do this? Just concerned before I save any of my pokemon. First time using pokegen or action replay.

PokeGen will not generate "bugged" Pokemon. You can, however, use the wrong game settings and write data to places it shouldn't be, thus causing the appearance of "bugged" Pokemon, among other seemingly random issues. Be sure the target game is set to the game you're wanting and there's nothing to worry about. (Unless you're using Mystery Gift codes, in which case you also need to ensure that the code generator game/language also matches.)

No need to fear about your Pokémon getting "bugged". I can have a shiny Speed Boost Blaziken participate in Random Wi-Fi battles, even though it's not legitimately possible to have a Shiny Starter Pokémon with its Hidden Ability.
