PokeGen Won't Load .SAV File

Hello, so the problem I have is that PokeGen won't load my Pokemon White save file. Originally, the message I got was that the file's size was incompatible. Then I tried to use a converter to change the size. However, now PokeGen just gives me the 'invalid save file' message. Do I need to convert it again to something else?

You're presumably, like at least one other person that's posted about this problem, using hardware that mutilates the save file unlike the actual DS/cartridge and emulators. The checksums in the save file are wrong.
