Game won't recognise save :s

I have Pokesav'd a savegame, and when I tried to put it back onto the system, it only gives me the option to go to a new game. If I copy the save, it recognises it i.e, I can save it to a different slot).

Can anybody help me?

is it possible for you to post the save so i can check it by the way do you use ds or any emulator (state the emulator please)

PS, It was working all the way up until a few hours ago when I tried to put some AR codes on, and then it just stopped working. I am using an R4 card, although I do also have a legitimate copy of the game in Japanese, which I do not play.

is it normal r4 or gbatemp's wood r4 ?

if you are using wood r4 change it like

Rom name : X.nds

Save: X.nds.sav

White sav.sav

I am using wood. I have the file named correctly, i.e Pokemon White.nds.sav inside the folder but it still shows new game...

ok did you do these:

on wood r4 highlight the game press Y and chose the save format make it 8 mb it will work
