Event Celebii trouble

Ok so what Im trying to do is use the WIN2011 Celebi English EU pcd and pgt to make a AR code using Pokemon Mystery Gift Editor into my retail copy of Pokemon Soul Silver EU but all I get is "You have already recieved this gift" but I dont even have Celebi in my Pokedex, and I even tried using a ROM with a fresh save file to test if it was the code thats glitching on me (I even used pokesav to patch the save file with the Wonder Card directly to no avail) and Ive tried both Pokemon Myster Gift Editor 1.4.2 and 1.4.3 but it doesnt seem to make a difference, so help please? D:

Edit: Ok turns out I need both the code for the Gift and the Wonder Card itself to be enabled, if only it was a bit clearer on that sorta thing lol

Edit again: Ok I managed to get it working with Pokemon platinum, but not Soul Silver for some reason =/

also teh code's Im using that Pokemon mystery Gift editor gives me:

Gift:

  Reveal hidden contents

Card:

  Reveal hidden contents

So yeah like I said, i really dont knwo what Im doing wrong, even though I did manage to get it working with Platinum but Im not too sure how to be honest =/
