EngSpringer Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 Hi, tried loading the beta of PokeGen so I could read the data on some B&W pkm files I have. Unfortunately, I'm running Norton 360 on my system and Norton keeps quarantining the program and restartiing my computer. EngSpringer Posted February 2, 2011 Author Share Posted February 2, 2011 I'm confident that PokeGen isn't malicious, but was thinking if this happens only with Norton if I should use a different AntiVirus when the subscription is up. Bond697 Posted February 2, 2011 Share Posted February 2, 2011 get rid of norton and grab this: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ it's far better than norton/symantec stuff and is completely free. the newest version came out a month ago(v2.0) and does a pretty amazing job of malware detection/prevention/removal.
