name of poke egg is blank

heya,

i'm using the latest beta of Pokegen to make some pokemon eggs and have them deposited in my box. but it seems that when i go to retrieve said egg the space where the name is supposed to be is just blank, it doesnt say egg or the pokemon's name or anything. not really sure what i'm doing wrong here.

for refrence i'm not loading a save i'm exporting it through an action replay code that i plug into my game. also i'm using pokemon diamond. i'm setting to diamond/pearl in Pokegen and setting the origin to diamond if that makes any difference here. allthough the pokemon hatches with all the proper data that is inputted for it. just when it's an egg the name is blank. i've tried setting the name to Egg and to Egg\FFFF and even Egg\FFFF\0000 but i still dont get anywhere any help on this is greatly appreciated, thanks!

I don't have an explanation if you're doing everything right. I haven't tested to see if it happens for me though.

one other thing i noticed while trying to figure out the issue is that it seems that PokeGen doesnt keep within it's memory the data of a nickname, so say for instance i create a pokemon then i right click a slot in a box and click set, then go up to tools and hit reset controls to clear the board to make a new poke. if i right click the newly made pokemon to choose view data, all of the data is there except for what i had custom set for the nickname. i tried many different types of nicknames as well...

i dont know if this directly ties into the issue i'm having but since i recently noticed it i thought i'd give this info over to you
