CWDave
So, I downloaded a Pokemon White rom that was fully english patched and Anti-Piracy removed. Forgot where I downloaded it, the page had 4 items in a square on the middle of the page with a downloadlink-image on the leftdown corner. If you know that page, please link, maybe it might be important for my problem, or maybe not. At first I used it with desmemu and it worked just fine. Everything was english, game running smooth, and cheat codes work. Now, I recently bought a DSi XL and I decided to play Pokemon White again, but on the DSi XL this time, since it's more fun that way. I place it on my M3i Zero and start the game. Works just as smooth as on desmemu. However, to use cheats on my M3i Zero, I use cheat_eng.db that's already installed on the flashcart. It however didn't had Pokemon White cheat codes, so I downloaded an unofficial cheat database from here: http://filetrip.net/f21815-Unofficial-Cheat-DB-1-05.html I couldn't find Pokemon White on the latest version (1.08), that's why I downloaded an older version. I place this file in the System folder of my flashcard, and start up the game again. Before starting however, I make sure that Cheats are on Always On and I activate one of the random codes already put in to see if it works. And yes, I made sure it selected this downloaded file ofcourse (else no cheats would show up on the Cheats tab). Sadly it doesn't. All it shows is a black screen when I press Start to start the game. Power off, power on, back on the flashcart, I disable the cheat, and the game works normally again. In a nutshell: the game doesn't load once I use one cheat. The same cheats works just fine on Desmemu, but they don't on my DSi XL. I can't figure out where the problem lies, maybe any of you know?
