Pokesav Egg Help

I was just wondering how do you make a pokemon egg on pokesav, l know you just press the box that says egg but that never works out for me.I also want to know what dates you fill in to make it seem you recived it from the Daycare Couple on the date that i choose.

i havent made eggs before but as far as i know you make it like a normal pokemon, leave the EVs blank, you can set the IVs to whatever you want and make a PID with the genereate option in pokesav instead of PID/IV, and make sure that you set egg hatched to daycare couple (this goes for hatched pokes too) you can set the dates to whatever you want that isnt in the future
